Training a horse starts with ensuring that your horse is healthy and ready to perform. That said, don't forget that horses need their teeth checked at least once a year. Some need it more. One of the things I ask people when they are bringing their horse in for training is when did they last have their horses' teeth looked at by a qualified professional. Some vets still float teeth, some will refer to an equine dentist. Either way, it's a good investment in your horses' health and well being.
