At the Training Center To register for a clinic at the Terry Myers Training Center, click the red "Clinic Registration Form" button above and following the instructions on the form. Unless otherwise specified in the clinic listing, to attend a clinic you should be able to walk and trot your horse in a controlled manner. While canter/lope will be included, it is at your discretion. There are a few electric plug ins at the Training Center as well as several hotels within a short driving distance.

Knock the dust off your saddle and come ride with Terry Myers. Each rider will receive individual instruction to help them jump start the riding season, no matter what the discipline. Terry is an ARHA judge and can answer your questions regarding showing ranch. Spend the day learning the training tips and techniques to succeed in the ranch rail classes and pattern classes. We will work on quality of gaits plus perfecting transitions and maneuvers. Learn how to perfect your patterns. As a prerequisite, you must be able to walk, trot and canter your horse in a controlled manner. Cost is $175, includes lunch and a stall. Auditors are welcome, $20.00 per day, payable when you arrive. Come get your ranch on!

2 Day Ranch Clinic at the Terry Myers Training Center, Ostrander, Ohio

Terry Myers is an ARHAjudge and can help you understand how to improve your showring performance. Mornings: will focus on ranch rail classes and pattern classes. You will learn the quality of the gaits needed for ranch rail classes, with focus on collection, transitions, extensions and how to train for it. Learn what the judges want to see in the ring. Afternoons will focus on cattle work, including tracking and the basics of Boxing, including what the judges want to see in the ARHA show ring. As a prerequisite, you must be able to walk, trot and canter your horse in a controlled manner and your horse should be desensitized to cattle. Prior attendance to a Terry Myers horsemanship clinic helpful but not required. Cost is $450 (includes lunch for the rider, a stall and cattle fees). Auditors are welcome, $20.00 per day (payable when you arrive). Come get your ranch on!
